1. Taichung Railway Station
Taichung Railway Station is a historical train station built in 1905. It blends old Japanese-style architecture with modern transport services, making it a great and oldest spot to experience Taiwan's railway heritage and local culture. You can also enjoy the famous Taichung Moon Cake or fresh Ice Cream on the way!

2. National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts
The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts is one of Asia's top art museums. It features modern and contemporary Taiwanese art, and often holds exhibitions, workshops, and events that highlight local creativity. The museum became the first “dementia friendly” museum and regularly holds tours for dementia families in collaboration with CSMU.

3. National Taichung Theater
Designed by famous Japanese architect Toyo Ito, the National Taichung Theater is known for its unique curved architecture. It hosts operas, concerts, and performances, and is also a popular photo spot and cultural landmark. Enjoy the beautiful handicrafts and ice cream after the tour!

Workshops :

1. Innovation in aging: Journal Submission Experience Sharing
This session will cover basic techniques and how to prepare for journal submission. The Editor-in-chief from top- ranked gerontological journal will conduct the workshop and talk about innovative topics in aging.

2. Inclusive Community engagement
In an aging community, having an inclusive community uniting families young and old as well as aging populations with different disabilities can be challenging. The Red Cross of Taichung City established this wellness center which combines exercise, cognitive training and socialization, with equipments and games to be relaxed and enjoyed for all.
